Sally & Kenton – San Francisco Engagement Session

I am not proud of this, but I have to admit that I am a bit of a backseat driver in life and it’s no exception when it comes to Tim’s photography business. I like giving him my two cents during engagement sessions, I like telling him which pictures BEG to be in black and white, I like reading his emails to his clients before he sends them so I can tell him how to be more expressive without being a creeper… Lucky for me, Tim finds my backseat driving adorable and simultaneously helpful to him! Thanks Tim for letting me be a part of this in a slightly more official way icon smile Sally & Kenton San Francisco Engagement Session I’m looking forward to getting to know you all!

It is fitting that my first blog post is about one of my best friends – Sally. I’ve know Sally since I was 8 years old. I’m getting to the age where there is significant math involved in figuring out how many years we’ve been friends. I will spare you the less flattering stories about our childhood friendship (because I have to say that for my MOH speech at her wedding – I’ll be sure to include snippets of that in my post-wedding blog), and jump right into where I start talking about her meeting this guy Kenton.

So Kenton and Sally met on… get this… eHARMONY. Snicker all you want, but the commercials don’t lie. Love really is out there. eHarmony will help you find it. I remember the first factoid she told me about him was that he works for ESPN. That won me over. However up until that moment, Sally had never watched ESPN. She couldn’t name a single sports analyst if her life depended on it. Thankfully Kenton has more depth than just knowing a lot about sports (true story: Tim and I hired him as our fantasy draft consultant last season) and won Sally over with his depth, kindness, and character. Now Sally is a SF Giants fanatic. She even has that crazy MLB subscription thing on your computer so you can watch every. single. baseball. game.

We had so much fun hanging out with these two a couple weekends ago in SF. They look amazing. And by their smiles, you wouldn’t know that it was 50ish with a -285 wind chill. What troopers! We love you Sally and Kenton and couldn’t be happier that we get to be a part of your wedding in this special way!
